A little about me. Coming from a wedding and portrait background in Cheshire where I worked for a well known wedding photographer which I was greatful
for his guidance. I served in the military before this and have always been an outdoor type.I usually spend much of my winter In New Zealand where I lived for sometime.My photographic work has taken myself around the world and I think I have pretty much photographed the New Zealand landscape, from the top of the north island to the tip of the south island.
I am currently living in Grasmere, with my wife Sue and we are based in Keswick, where in early March 2015 we opened our new Gallery, in the Heart of The English Lake District. My goal is to try and capture the splendor of The Lake District and its wonderful landscape, through the camera. I am always trying to come up with new ideas with my work, either with color,monochrome and fine art ideas. I try hard to portray my ideas using fine art materials as the end result.
I have been lucky to have been involved within the photographic industry for many years and coming from a studio background before moving to the lakes has helped myself very much indeed when out photographing.The constant awareness to do better and new things next time becomes a little harder. To come up with something different and my own takes a little longer as i am always trying to find new ideas with my work...
